Saurav Das Rejects Talks and Demands Minister Resignation

Saurav Das, an activist and leader for the Cockroach Janta Party, rejected an invitation from BJP leader JP Nadda to hold government negotiations at Nadda's private residence. Das insisted that ministers meet protesters at a neutral location or at the "people's court" located at Jantar Mantar.

To resolve the standoff over the NEET-UG paper leak, Das issued three non-negotiable demands: the resignation of Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, 1 crore rupees in compensation for the families of students who committed suicide, and the withdrawal of all FIRs against peaceful protesters. He further demanded a sovereign guarantee against future FIR filings and the public release of accurate police data regarding detainees and injured persons.

Following reports of stone-pelting, Das urged protesters to adhere to non-violent, Gandhian principles. He emphasized that the government must demonstrate a genuine intention to accept the protesters' demands before further discussions are scheduled.
