A Ukrainian drone strike targeted a passenger bus in the Moscow-controlled Lugansk region on Wednesday, resulting in nine deaths. The vehicle was transporting 15 passengers from Lysychansk to Stakhanov when it was hit.
Eight people died at the scene, and a 20-year-old woman died later in intensive care. Other casualties included the victim's mother, an 18-year-old woman, three other passengers, and the driver, all of whom received medical treatment.
Leonid Pasechnik, the head of the region, characterized the incident as a "war crime" and an "act of terrorism by Kiev." The Russian Investigative Committee is currently documenting the consequences of the attack.
