Nvidia Connects GPU Owners With Nordic Data Center Operators

Nvidia is matchmaking GPU holders with data center operators in the Nordics, Asia, and the U.S. to accelerate AI infrastructure deployment.

Nvidia is acting as a matchmaker to connect companies owning its graphics processing units (GPUs) with data center operators capable of deploying them. This initiative aims to speed up AI infrastructure growth by helping customers secure essential land, power, and facility shells.

The Nordic region has become a primary target for these efforts due to its cool climate, which reduces chip overheating, and its abundance of land and power. Recent regional activity includes Pure DC investing 1.5 billion euros in a Finnish campus and Nebius Group planning one of Europe's largest AI factories in Finland. In Norway, Microsoft has expanded its computing capacity at an Nscale site.

Nvidia Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress confirmed the company's role in facilitating these connections to help clients stand up compute capacity quickly. While the Nordics are a focal point, Nvidia is also introducing infrastructure builders to GPU holders in the United States and Asia.
