China Provides Weather Support After Nepal Border Mudslide

The China Meteorological Administration is providing weather monitoring, forecasting, early warning, and impact services to Nepal following a severe mudslide at the Gyirong-Rasuwa border crossing. The agency is coordinating with Nepal's meteorological department to support ongoing rescue and relief operations.

Chinese meteorological authorities conducted video consultations with their Nepalese counterparts to align emergency response efforts. Spokesperson Wang Yawei announced that the agency intends to strengthen international cooperation with Nepal to improve the country's disaster management and emergency response capabilities.
