Matt Prusak Resigns from American Bitcoin to Join Giga Energy

Matt Prusak resigned as president and interim chief financial officer of American Bitcoin effective August 4, 2026. Prusak notified the company of his departure on July 30 and will join Giga Energy as chief business officer and interim CFO.

To address the vacancy, American Bitcoin appointed Paul Sacks, the company's head of derivatives, as the new interim CFO starting August 4. The leadership change occurs as American Bitcoin reported its second-quarter 2026 financial results, which consisted of $67 million in revenue and a net loss of $57.2 million.
