The Government of Afghanistan issued 203,693 visas to foreign nationals over the past year, according to government spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid. Speaking at a press conference in Kabul, Mujahid stated that the country has expanded economic partnerships with regional powers and neighboring states by utilizing a balanced, economy-centric foreign policy.
As part of a broader diplomatic effort to strengthen commercial and political ties, senior Afghan officials conducted 93 international visits during the same period. The government also confirmed that passport issuance services for Afghan citizens are now fully operational across 28 consulates and diplomatic missions abroad.
