The surplus marks a sharp turnaround from May, which saw a downwardly revised shortfall of A$2.367 billion. The shift was driven by a 9.6 percent monthly increase in exports, which rose to A$4.196 billion, while imports experienced a slight decline of 0.2 percent to -A$100 million.
