Barack Obama Headlines House Democrat Fund-raiser in New York

Barack Obama will headline a fund-raiser for House Democrats on September 10 in New York alongside Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. The event, which includes a reception and dinner, is designed to raise funds for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee as the party attempts to close a financial gap with Republican committees and the MAGA Inc. super PAC, the latter of which holds over $400 million.

The New York event coincides with a two-day Republican midterm convention in Dallas, Texas, though the Democratic gathering will remain private. In addition to the New York appearance, Obama is scheduled to headline a separate fund-raiser for the National Democratic Redistricting Committee on Martha's Vineyard.
