Thailand Clears Boeing 737 MAX Fleet of FAA Safety Checks

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand announced that 12 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft operating within the country do not require additional structural inspections following a safety directive from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA order mandated structural investigations of forward right-hand service door frames for Boeing 737 MAX 8, MAX 9, and MAX 8-200 models after cracks were discovered in aircraft operated by other nations.

Thai regulators determined that the domestic fleet is not included on the FAA's targeted list of affected aircraft. Consequently, the authority confirmed that these planes can continue normal operations without the need for the specific structural checks required by the U.S. directive.
