Palantir and Armada Partner to Build Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Palantir Technologies and Armada announced a partnership on October 1, 2026, to deliver sovereign AI infrastructure. The collaboration integrates Palantir's Sovereign AI Operating System with Armada's infrastructure layer, which consists of the Armada Platform, the Armada Sovereign AI Grid, and Galleon modular data centers.

This infrastructure is manufactured in the United States and allied nations. It targets governments and regulated enterprises that require complete control over their AI workloads to avoid reliance on foreign hyperscaler cloud capacity. As part of the agreement, Palantir designated Armada as its first Certified Modular Data Center Partner.

The initiative extends a product line Palantir previously developed with Nvidia in March 2026. Palantir CEO Alex Karp defined sovereignty in this context as the ownership of underlying hardware, data, and weights, rather than simple service access.
