CoreWeave Reports 104 Billion Dollar Backlog Amid Financial Strain
CoreWeave Inc. reported a 104 billion dollar backlog and launched a new financing facility to target enterprise markets despite projected interest expenses exceeding operating income.
CoreWeave Inc. reported a backlog of 104 billion dollars at the end of the second quarter. To expand its reach into the enterprise market, the company implemented a new DDTL 5.5 financing facility. This facility is designed to enable shorter-term contracts with higher margins while reducing customer concentration risk.
Despite the significant growth in its backlog, the company faces immediate financial challenges. Third-quarter guidance indicates that interest expenses, estimated between 860 million and 940 million dollars, will exceed adjusted operating income, which is projected to be between 200 million and 260 million dollars.
