Dell Shares Rise Following Strong Lenovo AI Results

Dell Technologies shares rose approximately 3% on Thursday after competitor Lenovo Group released strong fiscal first-quarter results. The market viewed Lenovo's performance as a signal of broader momentum in enterprise computing and AI infrastructure spending, which is expected to benefit Dell.
Lenovo reported quarterly revenue of $26.94 billion, marking a 43.1% increase from the previous year. This growth was primarily driven by the company's Infrastructure Solutions Group, which nearly doubled its sales to $8.5 billion. Lenovo's AI server pipeline grew 157% from the prior quarter, reaching $54 billion.
Other divisions also showed growth, with Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group and Solutions and Services Group seeing revenue increases of 27% and 28%, respectively.
