APC Launches 2027 Campaign Councils in Ogun and Kano

The All Progressives Congress launched statewide mobilization efforts for the 2027 general elections on Tuesday, establishing campaign councils in both Ogun and Kano states. In Ogun State, State Chairman Chief Yemi Sanusi released official committee lists to manage media, logistics, and engagement across 20 local government areas to secure victories in presidential, governorship, and legislative contests.

Simultaneously, Deputy Senate President Jibrin Barau inaugurated the Kano North Senatorial District Campaign Council in Kano. Barau urged APC aspirants who lost in the party's primary elections to accept the results and collaborate with winning candidates, stating that the party cannot afford internal divisions. He directed the council to mobilize support across 13 local government areas for President Bola Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and other party candidates.

Rabiu Bichi, Managing Director of the Hadeja Jama’are River Basin Development Authority and Chairman of the Kano North council, pledged that the committee would work to secure the highest possible vote count across all polls.
