Ksi Lisims LNG Signs 20-Year Supply Deal With Centrica

Ksi Lisims LNG LP signed a long-term supply agreement with Centrica Energy for its proposed liquefied natural gas export facility on the northwest coast of British Columbia. Under the terms of the deal, Centrica Energy, the parent company of British Gas, will purchase one million tonnes of LNG per year for 20 years.

This agreement increases the total signed capacity for the project to nine million tonnes per year, moving closer to the planned 12 million tonnes. The facility is being co-developed by the Nisga’a Nation, Rockies LNG, and the Houston-based Western LNG.

While the project still requires a final investment decision, the developers expect first shipments to begin in the early 2030s.
