Sussex Representatives Condemn Paparazzi Monitoring Children's School
Team Sussex condemned European photographers for monitoring the school grounds of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children in Gloucestershire.
European press agency photographers caused security concerns in Gloucestershire after they were observed monitoring the school grounds attended by the children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Private security and school staff reported two men with backpacks walking the perimeter and looking into the grounds before returning to a rental van.
The incident occurred 48 hours after the arrest of five men near RAF Fairford, where three vans had been found blocking a road. Although police determined there was no link between the photographers and the suspected terror plot at the airbase, the timing heightened security anxieties.
A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex described the photographers' behavior as "extraordinarily reckless" and an "unacceptable intrusion into the privacy of children." The event follows the couple's return to the United Kingdom last month, as they continue to await a decision regarding taxpayer-funded security.
