AMTD IDEA Group Executes Reverse Split to Regain NYSE Compliance
AMTD IDEA Group will implement a one-for-60 reverse ADS split on October 19 to raise its share price above New York Stock Exchange minimums.
AMTD IDEA Group announced a change to the ratio of its American depositary shares to its Class A ordinary shares to regain compliance with New York Stock Exchange listing standards. Effective on or about October 19, 2026, the company will implement a one-for-60 reverse ADS split, shifting the ratio from one ADS representing six Class A ordinary shares to one ADS representing 360 Class A ordinary shares.
The move follows a notice from the New York Stock Exchange on July 8, 2026, which informed the company it was not in compliance because its average closing price remained below US$1.00 for a 30-trading-day period. The company intends for the ratio change to increase the share price and satisfy regulatory requirements.
The Bank of New York Mellon will manage the exchange of shares. AMTD IDEA Group will continue trading under the ticker symbol AMTD, though it will be assigned a new CUSIP.
