Slovenian Consumer Confidence Hits Four-Month Low in September

Consumer confidence in Slovenia declined in September, reaching its lowest level in four months. Data released by the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia shows the consumer sentiment index dropped to -23, down from -22 in August.

Expectations for the general economic situation over the coming year worsened, with the index falling to -29 from -27. This decline is largely attributed to expectations that consumer prices will rise more rapidly over the next twelve months.

Despite the overall downturn, some indicators showed marginal improvement. Households reported a slight increase in their personal financial outlooks and a decrease in fears regarding unemployment.
