Supermicro Launches Liquid-Cooled NVIDIA Vera CPU Rack for Agentic AI
Super Micro Computer, Inc. released a liquid-cooled rack-scale solution featuring NVIDIA Vera CPUs to support high-density agentic AI and reinforcement learning workloads.
Super Micro Computer, Inc. announced the NVIDIA Vera CPU rack on October 22, 2026, a 100% liquid-cooled solution engineered for agentic AI, reinforcement learning, and large-scale data processing. The system integrates 256 NVIDIA Vera CPUs, delivering 22,528 cores and 45,056 threads, which allows a single rack to support up to 22,500 concurrent agent sandboxes.
Built on the third-generation NVIDIA MGX design and Supermicro's DLC-2 direct liquid cooling stack, the rack functions as a standalone platform or as a complement to the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72. To manage security and governance, the infrastructure incorporates NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPUs and supports the NVIDIA OpenShell Reference Architecture and NVIDIA Sentry for real-time monitoring and policy enforcement.
Company executives emphasized that the shift toward agentic AI requires a new class of high-density CPU infrastructure to handle thousands of concurrent workflows. The solution is currently available for quote.
