Gorilla Technology Group to Acquire First US Data Center
Gorilla Technology Group signed a letter of intent to acquire its first US data center to launch a broader AI infrastructure expansion strategy.
Gorilla Technology Group Inc. has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to acquire its first data center in the United States. The target facility currently operates with 6 MW of utility capacity, which the company plans to expand to 36 MW. Gorilla aims to finalize the acquisition by the end of November 2026.
This purchase serves as the foundation for a larger strategy to build a U.S. data center portfolio exceeding 100 MW within the next 12 to 18 months. The company intends to reach this goal through further acquisitions, infrastructure expansion, and customer-led GPU deployments. The target facility is already generating revenue through existing office operations and colocation.
Gorilla is currently conducting technical, financial, and legal due diligence on the site. Company leadership views the move as a shift toward owning the physical infrastructure that supports the AI economy rather than simply acquiring real estate.
