Danaher Beats Q2 Earnings but Lowers Revenue Outlook
Danaher Corporation reported second-quarter profits of $1.94 per share, exceeding estimates while lowering its full-year core revenue growth forecast to 4%.
Danaher Corporation reported second-quarter 2026 financial results on July 21, beating earnings estimates with profits of $1.94 per share against an expected $1.83. The company achieved a 60% increase in net earnings to $870 million and a 5.5% year-over-year revenue growth totaling $6.3 billion.
Despite the earnings beat and strong mid-teens growth in bioprocessing orders, the company reduced its full-year core revenue growth outlook. Danaher lowered the upper end of its projected growth range from 6% to 4%. This adjustment follows weaker-than-expected biotechnology revenue, which the company partially attributed to $100 million in revenue shifting into the next year.
While the company raised its adjusted earnings per share guidance and noted improving trends within its Life Sciences business, the lowered revenue forecast has fueled investor concerns regarding the overall growth trajectory of the organization.
