S&P Dow Jones Indices Updates SmallCap 600 Index
S&P Dow Jones Indices announced additions and removals for the S&P SmallCap 600 index involving MSG Rangers, Huron Consulting Group, and Arbor Realty Trust.
S&P Dow Jones Indices announced a series of changes to the S&P SmallCap 600 index scheduled for late October and early November 2026. The updates include the addition of MSG Rangers Inc. on October 27, following its spin-off from Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. The parent company will be renamed MSG Knickerbockers Inc. and will remain in the index.
MSG Rangers replaces Arbor Realty Trust, which the index provider will remove on October 28 because the company is no longer representative of the small-cap market.
Further changes occur on November 2, when Huron Consulting Group Inc. will enter the index. Huron Consulting Group replaces Supernus Pharmaceuticals Inc., which is being removed due to its acquisition by Indivior Pharmaceuticals Inc.
