AI Infrastructure Stocks Surge on Strong Earnings Reports

Super Micro Computer Inc. and several other artificial intelligence infrastructure companies saw significant premarket stock gains on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Super Micro Computer Inc. shares rose over 7.5% after the company exceeded fourth-quarter estimates and issued first-quarter guidance for adjusted earnings and revenue that topped analyst expectations.
CoreWeave shares jumped more than 18.5% following a second-quarter revenue increase of 112% to $2.58 billion. Other AI-related gains included Nebius Group, which rose over 12.5% on strong EBITDA and revenue, and Lumentum Holdings, which climbed more than 8% after posting fourth-quarter adjusted earnings and revenue that exceeded expectations.
Outside the technology sector, Cava Group shares rose nearly 12% and H & R Block surged 11% on upbeat forecasts. In contrast, software stocks including Workday, Salesforce, Palantir Technologies, and ServiceNow declined, while Kontoor Brands fell nearly 3% due to weaker-than-expected second-quarter revenue.
