7 Brew Wins 73 Salad and Go Leases for $143.2 Million
Brew Culture LLC won a bankruptcy auction for 73 former Salad and Go leases, outbidding Dutch Bros to expand its footprint in the Southwest.
Brew Culture LLC, doing business as 7 Brew, won a bankruptcy auction for 73 former Salad and Go leases and related assets with a bid of approximately $143.2 million. The acquisition includes 41 locations in Arizona, 20 in Texas, and six each in Nevada and Oklahoma. The deal encompasses site-related assets and customer lists but excludes the Salad and Go brand.
7 Brew outbid national coffee rival Dutch Bros, which served as the backup bidder after declining to increase its previous offer of $105 million. The acquisition allows the Arkansas-based company to rapidly expand its presence in Arizona and Nevada.
The transaction is pending approval from the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. Salad and Go, a health-focused fast food chain that peaked at 146 locations, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and closed its remaining shops on August 5.
