Iran Warns US of Strategic Strikes on Energy Chokepoints

Iranian military leaders threatened heavy strikes on US vital interests and energy chokepoints while vowing to fight for generations to prevent foreign interference.

Iranian military officials issued warnings on Monday against the United States, threatening strategic strikes on energy chokepoints and vital interests if US forces target Iranian infrastructure. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that transferring vulnerability to enemy infrastructure has been a primary achievement of the current conflict, which they claim has prevented the US and its allies from reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohibbi rejected US claims that Iran's missile stockpiles are depleted, asserting that Tehran continues to produce guided and smart missiles. This escalation follows a period of intense conflict sparked by joint US and Israeli attacks on February 28, which targeted Tehran and other cities, resulting in the destruction of infrastructure and the assassination of Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

In a separate ceremony in Mashhad, Major General Amir Hatami, commander-in-chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, declared that Iran is prepared to fight for the next 10 to 20 generations to prevent foreign powers from reshaping the country. Hatami asserted that the use of force is the only effective method to deter the United States and Israel, whom he accused of continuing to plot against Iran.
