IndiGo Suspends Noida-Chandigarh Route as Akasa Air Resumes Services
IndiGo suspended non-stop flights between Noida International Airport and Chandigarh while Akasa Air announced the resumption of services to Navi Mumbai on October 1.
IndiGo has suspended its non-stop flight services between Noida International Airport and Chandigarh Airport. The route had been introduced recently following the inauguration of the Noida airport last month. IndiGo was the first airline to operate from the Noida hub on June 15 and had previously announced goals to connect the airport with over 16 domestic destinations and 14 city pairs to link metropolitan centers with Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities.
In a separate development, Akasa Air announced it will resume flights connecting Noida International Airport with Navi Mumbai International Airport on October 1.
