Mahindra Unveils Scorpio Lifestyler Pickup for 2027 Launch
Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled the Scorpio Lifestyler pickup truck on August 14, featuring multiple engine options and a scheduled Indian market release in April 2027.
Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled the Scorpio Lifestyler, a production-spec lifestyle pickup truck based on the Scorpio N SUV, during its 2026 Independence Day event on August 14. The vehicle is the production version of the 2023 Global Pik Up concept and is designed to succeed the Mahindra Scorpio Getaway.
The truck will be manufactured in India and sold in select global markets, with an official Indian launch scheduled for April 2027. While early price estimates ranged between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 26 lakh, the company has since specified a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 19.79 lakh.
Mahindra showcased the Lifestyler in three distinct versions: Reef, Trail, and Valley, targeting lifestyle, adventure off-road, and practical workhorse users. The vehicle offers single-cab and dual-cab layouts and is equipped with a portrait-style infotainment screen, a panoramic sunroof, and Level-2 ADAS.
Powertrain options include a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine producing up to 200 bhp and a 2.2L turbo-diesel engine producing up to 450 Nm. The truck will be available with both manual and automatic transmissions, with 2WD and 4XPLOR 4WD options. The Lifestyler is positioned to compete with the Toyota Hilux and Isuzu V-Cross in the Indian market.
