ADC Expands Presidential Campaign Structure for 2027 Elections

The African Democratic Congress Presidential Campaign Council is expanding its national organizational structure and appointment list ahead of the 2027 elections. Following the unveiling of a 69-member council led by Director General Senator Austin Akobundu, the party clarified that the current list is not the final composition.

Director of Strategic Communication Phrank Shaibu stated that current appointments represent an early stage. He noted that further senior positions, as well as zonal, state, ward, and polling unit structures, will be announced as consultations continue. Shaibu urged supporters not yet named in the appointments to remain patient, asserting that the commitment of those supporting Atiku Abubakar is valued.

The campaign is integrating party loyalists, professionals, and youth to develop a comprehensive policy framework. This initiative aims to create practical responses to interconnected national challenges, specifically focusing on food security, the cost of living, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure.
