US Space Force Deploys Satellite Jamming in Venezuela and Iran
The United States Space Force used electromagnetic-warfare systems to jam satellites during the capture of Nicolás Maduro and the start of a war against Iran.
The United States Space Force deployed ground-based electromagnetic-warfare systems to support military operations in Venezuela and Iran. During an operation to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, Space Force personnel used these systems to jam satellites, creating a protective bubble around U.S. forces.
Following the action in Venezuela, the military rapidly redeployed these assets and personnel to the Middle East. The systems were used to support the launch of a war against Iran by degrading enemy satellite capabilities and protecting American troops. These electromagnetic-warfare systems are based at a Space Force installation in Colorado.
