LATAM Airlines Raises 2026 Guidance After Strong Q2 Earnings

LATAM Airlines Group SA raised its full-year financial guidance after reporting second-quarter earnings that exceeded analyst expectations. The company now projects adjusted Ebitda between $4.1 billion and $4.4 billion and estimated revenue between $17.3 billion and $17.7 billion.

Despite these optimistic projections, second-quarter net income fell 48% year-over-year to $125.2 million, impacted by a 93.1% increase in fuel costs. However, the airline has lowered its jet fuel price projections for the remainder of 2026, noting that prices have reached a more constructive level than previously assumed.

To support continued growth, the airline will integrate up to 14 new Embraer aircraft between November 2026 and March 2027. These additions will enable the carrier to serve 42 routes, including four new destinations, with further expansions planned for next year.
