JPMorgan Chase Updates Sapphire Reserve Card Benefits and Caps

JPMorgan Chase is updating its Sapphire Reserve credit card lineup to mark the 10th anniversary of the consumer version of the product. Starting October 1, 2026, the company will increase monthly DoorDash restaurant credits from $5 to $15. To celebrate the anniversary, the bank is also offering one-time travel credits for SIXT, JSX, and IHG Hotels & Resorts, and has launched a travel video contest with a top prize of 5.5 million Ultimate Rewards points.

Changes are also coming to the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business. Effective January 1, 2027, the annual statement credits for The Edit hotels will double from $500 to $1,000.

However, the company is introducing a restriction on rewards for business users. Starting November 15, 2026, Chase will implement a $1 million annual spending cap on the 3x points earning rate for search engine and social media advertising. Once this limit is reached, spending in these categories will earn 1 point per dollar.
