Anheuser-Busch Invests $21 Million in California Facilities

Anheuser-Busch is spending $21 million to expand production and launch a technical training center at its Southern California breweries.

Anheuser-Busch is investing $21 million to expand production capacity and upgrade infrastructure at its facilities in Los Angeles and Mira Loma, California. The funding targets canning and bottling operations, rail capacity, and transportation capabilities to support brands such as Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Cutwater, and Phorm Energy.

As part of the expansion, the company will open a technical skills training center at its Van Nuys brewery. This center will provide electrical and mechanical systems training to employees. The project is a component of the Brewing Futures initiative, a $600 million investment in U.S. operations planned for 2025 and 2026.

Anheuser-Busch intends to establish 15 training centers across the United States to upskill more than 90% of its domestic manufacturing workforce within five years. CEO Brendan Whitworth stated the investment would strengthen Southern California operations and support local employment.
