Kia America Posts Record July Sales of 75,857 Units
Kia America achieved record July sales of 75,857 units, driven by a 108 percent increase in hybrid vehicle demand.
Kia America achieved record sales in July 2026, selling 75,857 units, which represents a 7 percent increase year-over-year. Sales through the company's retailer network grew by 8 percent during the same period. Year-to-date sales through July reached 506,584 units, a 4 percent increase over 2025, positioning the company to set its fourth consecutive annual sales record.
Growth was led by electrified vehicles, with overall hybrid sales increasing by 108 percent and the broader electrified lineup growing by 52 percent. Six models hit new records for July, most notably the Sportage hybrid, which grew by 76 percent, and the Seltos, which rose by 61 percent. The company also introduced the 2027 Seltos in Newport Beach.
Eric Watson, Vice President of Sales Operations for Kia America, attributed the record growth to the strength of the product lineup and sustained consumer demand. Separately, the company reported that its Accelerate the Good Dealer Match program raised over $4.7 million for nonprofits in 2025, including $1.5 million each for No Kid Hungry and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
