Nvidia Ramps Production of Next-Gen Vera Rubin AI Platform

Nvidia Corporation is ramping up production of its next-generation Vera Rubin platform in preparation for wider deployments in late 2026. The new platform integrates GPUs, CPUs, networking, switches, storage systems, and software into a single ecosystem. This integrated approach may enable the company to capture higher revenue per AI system deployment than current analyst estimates suggest.

The Rubin cycle follows the Blackwell platform introduced in March 2024. Financial projections based on current earnings estimates suggest that a fast rollout and sustained spending by hyperscalers could significantly drive share price growth by July 2027.

However, the company faces several risks that could impact this trajectory. These include increased competition, government export controls, and the possibility of weak customer returns on artificial intelligence investments.
