Google LLC Releases Gemini 3.6 Flash and 3.5 Flash Lite

Google LLC released three new AI models on July 21, 2026: Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber. The Gemini 3.6 Flash model replaces Gemini 3.5 Flash and introduces improved coding capabilities alongside a new standard feature for computer use. This version operates with approximately 17 percent fewer tokens to increase efficiency.

Gemini 3.6 Flash is currently available through Google AI Studio, Vertex AI, the Gemini app, and GitHub Copilot. The company also reduced API pricing for output tokens to $7.50 per million. Parallel to this launch, the company introduced Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite as its most efficient modern AI, capable of reaching speeds of 350 tokens per second.

Despite these updates, the company has not yet released the Gemini 3.5 Pro model. Originally expected in June, the model remains in testing.
