Inseego Launches Multi-WAN Control Software for SD-WAN Appliances

Inseego Corp. released multi-WAN control software to manage traffic across 5G, satellite, and fiber connections for industrial and enterprise networks.

Inseego Corp. launched multi-WAN control software for its SD-WAN appliances on October 12, 2026. The software enables devices, including the Wavemaker FX4200, to manage traffic across a variety of connections such as 5G receivers, low Earth orbit satellite terminals, fiber, wired broadband, and integrated cellular WAN links.

The system provides automatic failover and traffic prioritization to maintain connectivity stability in mission-critical environments, specifically targeting industrial deployments and enterprise edge networks. Users manage the system through Inseego Connect, a cloud-based platform. The company intends to demonstrate the software's recovery and failover capabilities at its Network X booth.

This product release follows the company's acquisition of the FastMile product line and Nokia's fixed wireless access business. Chief Product Officer Ryan Sullivan stated that operators require flexibility to address customer needs while keeping broadband offerings commercially attractive, noting that the new software allows operators to dynamically manage connections at a price point that makes resilient broadband accessible to more homes and businesses.
