Maine Mall Adds Five Retailers Ahead of Holiday Season

The Maine Mall in South Portland is expanding its retail offerings and updating existing spaces in preparation for the holiday shopping season. The mall is adding five new locations and implementing several store renovations to diversify its tenant mix.

Pop Mart will open its first Maine location near the Apple Store, focusing on designer toys and collectibles. In the former Sears wing, Lids Locker Room will open a store featuring an expanded selection of official sports apparel. Starbucks is also returning to the mall with a new location adjacent to Lids and Aeropostale, designed to serve as an extension of the food court.

Existing retailers are also updating their formats. The Paper Store is introducing a rebranded concept called Uncharted, which will offer lifestyle products and experiential services including charm bars and ear piercing. Journeys is fully renovating its current space into a 4.0 store format that prioritizes footwear, bags, and socks over apparel.
