Apple Inc. established a deadline for customers to complete a Get Ready process to secure the fastest possible checkout for the upcoming iPhone Duo. Shoppers must finalize their pre-order selections, including model, color, and storage, by 9:00 p.m. PT on Thursday, October 15, 2026.

This preparation window allows users to save their configurations in the Apple Store app or on the company website. The goal is to reduce the time required to complete the purchase once pre-orders officially open on Friday, October 16, at 8:00 a.m. ET / 5:00 a.m. PT.

The company previously used a similar strategy for the iPhone 18 Pro to mitigate checkout delays and secure day-one delivery. This move comes amid rumors that the iPhone Duo may face initial supply shortages.
