Samsung Launches Budget Galaxy A08 with Six-Year Support

Samsung Electronics expanded its budget-friendly Galaxy A-series lineup with the launch of the Galaxy A08. The device succeeds the Galaxy A07 and features an all-plastic design available in Navy Blue, Silver, and Green.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 720x1600 resolution and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor. Hardware specifications include 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. For photography, the device utilizes a dual-camera system with a 50MP and 2MP rear sensor, complemented by an 8MP front-facing camera.

A primary feature of the Galaxy A08 is its 6000mAh battery supporting 25W fast charging, although the manufacturer does not include a charger in the box. The device runs Android 16 with One UI 8 and includes a commitment for six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

While official global pricing remains unannounced, the phone is priced at approximately 10,699 Ukrainian hryvnia (USD 239) in Ukraine, where it is already on sale. Listings on websites in Serbia and South Africa indicate a broader international rollout.
