DCCC Targets 58 Republican Seats for November Midterms

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee expanded its list of targets for the November midterm elections, adding 12 Republican-held seats to bring the total to 58. The DCCC is targeting districts across the United States, including Republican strongholds in Arkansas, Indiana, and Tennessee, as well as swing states like Nevada and Democratic-led New York.

DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene stated that the strategy intends to capitalize on voter frustration regarding the economy, the second Trump administration, and the war in Iran. DelBene argued that certain Republican representatives have passed policies that are crushing working families and their communities.

Specific targets include the seat of Richard Hudson, the National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman in North Carolina, and an open seat in New York's 21st district. Democrats are pursuing a small number of seats to overturn the narrow Republican majority and secure control of the House of Representatives for the remainder of Donald Trump's term.
