Natural Raises $30 Million for AI Agent Payment Infrastructure
Natural raised $30 million in Series A funding to build a foundational payments stack enabling AI agents to conduct autonomous financial transactions.
Financial technology startup Natural raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Kirsten Green of Forerunner, bringing its total funding to over $40 million. Founded less than a year ago by Kahlil Lalji, Eric Wang, and Walt Leung, the company is developing a foundational payments stack that allows AI agents to hold money, pay invoices, and make purchases autonomously.
Natural has already launched six of its 13 planned products, including vault accounts and FDIC-insured wallets provided by Column N.A. The company intends to release additional products, including Voice, Accept, and Cards, in the coming months. By creating infrastructure specifically for autonomous agentic payments, Natural aims to replace human-centric financial rails and compete with established providers such as Stripe.
