Azerbaijan Signs Diplomatic Protocol and Discusses Energy Security

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov conducted a series of high-level diplomatic meetings in New York during the 81st session of the UN General Assembly to expand international partnerships and discuss regional security.

Bayramov signed a protocol on political consultations with Dwight Fitzgerald Bramble, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Foreign Investment and Diaspora Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The agreement establishes institutional foundations to increase mutual visits and regular diplomatic contacts. Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to mutual support within the Non-Aligned Movement and the United Nations.

In a separate meeting, Bayramov met with Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ferit Hoxha to review bilateral relations and cooperation within international organizations. During these talks, Bayramov detailed the role of Azerbaijan in European energy security through energy connectivity and transport projects. He also briefed Hoxha on post-conflict developments and the current status of peace efforts between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
