Amazon Reports $161 Billion Cash Flow in Q2 2026
Amazon.com Inc. reported significant financial growth driven by a 37% revenue increase in its cloud division and expanded e-commerce sales.
Amazon.com Inc. reported significant financial growth for the second quarter of 2026, highlighted by a trailing-12-month cash flow from operations reaching $161 billion. This surge resulted from the implementation of warehouse automation to reduce costs and the continued expansion of its cloud computing operations.
Amazon Web Services, the company's primary profit driver, saw revenue climb 37% year over year in the second quarter, excluding currency changes. The core e-commerce business also showed strength, growing 15% year over year during the same period.
Despite these operational gains, the company's share price has risen approximately 12% year to date, performing in line with the S&P 500. This trend has resulted in a price-to-cash flow multiple of about 17, which remains lower than levels seen before 2022.
