CodeRabbit Raises $143 Million at $1.5 Billion Valuation
CodeRabbit Inc. raised $143 million to expand its AI-powered code review services into Asia and double its European workforce.
CodeRabbit Inc. raised $143 million in a funding round that values the AI-powered code review startup at $1.5 billion. Atomico and Smash Capital co-led the financing, with participation from BMW i Ventures and Datadog Inc., adding to previous investment from Nvidia Corp.
Founded in 2023, the company provides automated tools to identify flaws in software programming. CodeRabbit currently serves approximately 17,000 customers and performs more than 2 million code reviews weekly. The company states these services are increasingly necessary as AI-generated code becomes more common.
CodeRabbit will use the new capital to double its workforce in Europe and expand operations into Japan and Singapore. The startup is also launching new features designed to detect security vulnerabilities and suggest fixes. CEO Harjot Gill described the current market demand as a "land grab moment."
