Revolut Launches Ventures Platform for Retail Private Investing

Revolut is launching Revolut Ventures in 2027 to allow retail investors to invest in private technology companies before they go public.

Revolut announced the launch of Revolut Ventures, a platform developed with Carne Group that enables eligible retail investors to invest in private technology companies. Scheduled for integration into the Revolut app in 2027, the platform provides access to non-listed companies before they reach an initial public offering.

Revolut based the decision on data showing that the median age of companies at listing increased from 6.9 years in 2014 to 11 years in 2025, suggesting that a larger portion of company growth now occurs before they go public. This move follows the July 2026 introduction of private market funds in select European Economic Area countries.

The expansion is part of a broader strategy to diversify revenue as the company prepares for a potential dual stock market listing in London and New York. This follows the acquisition of full banking licenses in the United Kingdom and France.
