Maharashtra Launches Nagpur Finance Centre and Real Estate Summit

NAREDCO Maharashtra will host the REIIS 2026 summit in Mumbai while the state government launches a new International Business & Finance Centre in Nagpur.

The Government of Maharashtra is launching the International Business & Finance Centre (IBFC) in Nagpur, a 1,710-acre development intended to establish a regional financial hub for Central India. The project, detailed by Metropolitan Commissioner Sanjay Meena, aims to create a new business and investment destination for the region.

Simultaneously, NAREDCO Maharashtra will host the Real Estate & Infrastructure Investors' Summit 2026 (REIIS 2026) on September 3, 2026, in Mumbai. Operating under the theme 'RE-Defining India's Growth Story,' the summit seeks to secure over ₹10,000 crore in foreign direct investment and domestic institutional capital for state projects in FY27. The agenda focuses on proptech adoption, AI innovations, and strategic capital flows.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will deliver the concluding address at the summit, where leaders will discuss urban redevelopment and the 'Mumbai 3.0' innovation city initiative. As part of the proceedings, Jones Lang Lasalle India Private Limited will release an exclusive report on the redevelopment of Mumbai.
