China and Vietnam Discuss AI and Railway Cooperation in Manila
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung met in Manila to strengthen cooperation in artificial intelligence, agriculture, and railways.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung met in Manila on July 22 to discuss strengthening unity and cooperation between their two nations. Wang Yi emphasized that China and Vietnam, as socialist and developing countries, must implement the common understandings previously reached between their party and national leaders.
Wang Yi called for an increase in high-level exchanges and proposed practical cooperation in connectivity and artificial intelligence to help maintain regional peace. These initiatives aim to align the two governments on strategic technological and infrastructure goals.
Minister Le Hoai Trung affirmed Vietnam's willingness to enhance these exchanges. He specifically highlighted the need to promote cooperation in agriculture and railways. Trung also stressed the importance of coordinating multilaterally to safeguard shared regional and national interests.
