Venture Global Negotiates LNG Contracts With Chinese Importers

Venture Global Inc. is conducting early-stage negotiations to secure long-term liquefied natural gas contracts with at least three Chinese importers. These discussions include a potential agreement with PetroChina Co. to supply more than 1 million tons of fuel annually from export facilities located in Louisiana.

China is seeking to diversify its energy sources to mitigate the impact of global shipment disruptions caused by the war in Iran. The proposed agreements would increase the volume of American energy exports to the region as China looks for more stable supply chains.
