Rauf Aregbesola Denies ADC Withdrawal From Osun Election

National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress Rauf Aregbesola dismissed reports that the party or its governorship candidate, Najeem Folasayo Salaam, have withdrawn from the upcoming Osun State governorship election. Speaking during a solidarity rally and birthday celebration for Salaam in Ejigbo, Aregbesola stated that the ADC has not entered into any alliance with other political parties.

Aregbesola asserted that the party is too strong to negotiate away its ambitions and expressed confidence in Salaam's integrity and leadership. For his part, Salaam reaffirmed his commitment to his manifesto and promised to implement inclusive, people-centered governance if elected.
