Procter & Gamble Reports Lower Quarterly Net Profits

Procter & Gamble and its hygiene subsidiary reported declines in net profit for their most recent quarterly periods despite a slight revenue increase for the parent company.

The Procter & Gamble Company reported a fourth-quarter net profit of $3.044 billion, or $1.26 per share, representing a decline from the $3.615 billion earned in the previous year. Despite the drop in bottom-line earnings, the parent corporation saw revenue rise 1.5% to $21.203 billion.

Parallelly, its subsidiary, Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd, announced a standalone net profit of ₹126.27 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026. This figure marks a 34.25% decrease compared to the ₹192.06 crore reported year-on-year. The subsidiary's operational revenue fell 4.86% to ₹891.46 crore, while total expenses climbed 7.54% to ₹731.26 crore.
