Ilham Aliyev Announces Completion of Major Azerbaijan Logistics Projects
President Ilham Aliyev announced that Azerbaijan has completed all major transport and logistics projects and is now focusing on increasing cargo volumes.
Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan, announced that the country has completed all its major transport and logistics projects. During a joint press statement with President Thongloun Sisoulith of Laos, Aliyev stated that "all major transport and logistics projects in Azerbaijan have already been realized."
With the primary infrastructure goals met, Aliyev said the national focus has shifted toward identifying new cargo sources and mobilizing freight from new origins to increase overall cargo volumes. He expressed optimism that cargo transportation will continue to grow as complementary projects on both sides are finalized.
